I’m really enjoying my new Nikon digital camera (you can read more on my tech blog). I haven’t had a lot of time, since getting it, to really give it a workout but here are a few photos I’ve taken here at the house.

I’m very impressed with the quality and sharpness of the Nikkor zoom lens. I love the colors in these particular pictures: the pale yellow butterfly on the bright pink hibiscus flower, the bright yellow flower against the blue/gray brick and the wonderful hues of the sky following a day of rain.

When my current project is finished, I’m hoping to get out and get some good shots around town.
