AUSTIN – Texas Public Utility Commission Chairman Paul Hudson on Wednesday called on electricity providers to step up competition and cut prices.

A couple of hours after my last post on TXU, the above article appeared in the DMN. Looks as if Steve Blow and I aren’t the only ones concerned about the ridiculous energy costs and the customer-unfriendly attitude of some of our power companies.
All this talk is nice, but it doesn’t help me pay my $700+ electric bills (and if I’d been with TXU, they’d have been over $800). Wouldn’t it be nice if someone would DO something about it?
